About Me:
I’m a 41-year old single woman who has never been married. Trust me, that’s not what I planned for myself. Ever since I was a child I wanted the American dream, which includes the husband, kids, house, cars, career, dog, etc. Needless to say, I only got a few parts of that dream. Even though I’m finally at peace with the missing parts, I still want to be a mom.
Athough I’m not a biological mom, I’m a mom at heart. I’ve always had a passion to adopt, and I had always planned to do so once I married. However, the way life is set up in today’s world, who knows when that will be ? In the meantime, there are countless children who need a family. Just as I long to be a mommy, there are numerous children longing to HAVE a mommy. Perhaps where God needs me most is to serve as an adoptive mother, and I intend to answer the call.
My intention is for you to start from this post and read your way to the current postings.
Just know that I’m so glad you are here. I hope I inspire you on some level to open your heart to adoption. I believe it will be a blessing to you just as much as it will be for the child/ren that come into your care.
I’ll be posting encouraging messages and updates on my progress to give you an idea of what to expect and also to caution you about the pitfalls to avoid. Again, thank you for being here. Feel free to comment in the section below, and see you in the next post !
